Palworld Cake Recipe & Farming Guide – How to Get Cake Fast

Cake is the only item required for breeding in Palworld. Every single breed costs one Cake — and if you plan to breed for perfect passive skills across multiple generations, you'll need dozens. Setting up an automated Cake production chain is one of the best investments you can make.

🧬 Breeding RequirementCake is consumed every time you breed two Pals. You cannot start a breed without one in your Breeding Farm's inventory. Always keep at least 5-10 stocked up before starting a breeding session.

Berry Plantation · Watering + Planting Pals

Build a Berry Plantation and assign a Pal with Planting (like Lifmunk or Dinossom) and a Pal with Watering (like Pengullet). Red Berries grow and harvest automatically. Plant multiple plantations for faster output.

Egg × 8

Chikipi · Farming Lv1 passive drop

Assign 3-4 Chikipi to your base. They drop Eggs automatically over time. Chikipi are found everywhere near the starting area and are easy to catch in large numbers. More Chikipi = more eggs per hour.

Milk × 7

Mozzarina · Farming Lv2 passive drop

Keep 2-3 Mozzarina in your base. Milk is the hardest Cake ingredient to stockpile in large quantities, so having multiple Mozzarina is important for active breeding sessions. Found in grassy plains areas.

Mill · Wheat Seeds → Wheat → Flour

Flour requires a two-step process: plant Wheat Seeds in a Wheat Plantation (unlocked at Tech Lv15), harvest the Wheat, then process it in a Mill into Flour. Assign a Handiwork Pal to run the Mill automatically.

Honey × 2

Beegarde · Farming Lv2 passive drop

Honey is the rarest Cake ingredient. Assign 2 Beegarde to your base — they produce Honey slowly but steadily. Beegarde is found in flower-heavy fields in mid-game regions. Don't start breeding until you have a Honey stockpile.
