How to Farm Cake Ingredients

Cake requires 5 different ingredients — and if you're breeding Pals seriously, you'll need hundreds of them. This guide shows the fastest way to farm every ingredient simultaneously so Cake production never bottlenecks your breeding operation.

Red Berries ×8

Easiest ingredient to farm

Build 2-3 Berry Plantations. They grow Red Berries automatically with the right Pals assigned. Each plantation needs one Planting Pal and one Watering Pal to run at full efficiency. Red Berries are the fastest-growing crop so multiple plantations quickly produce a surplus.

Best Pals: Lifmunk or Dinossom (Planting) + Pengullet (Watering)

Eggs ×8

Assign 3-4 Chikipi to base

Chikipi drop Eggs passively over time when assigned to your base. They require no special station — just a Feed Box with food to keep them happy. The more Chikipi you have, the faster Eggs accumulate. They're common near the starting area so catching a dozen is easy.

Best Pal: Chikipi (Farming Lv1) — keep 3+ in your base

Milk ×7

Slowest ingredient — prioritize

Mozzarina is the only reliable Milk source. They drop Milk passively but slowly — which is why Milk is usually the bottleneck in Cake production. Keep at least 2-3 Mozzarina in your base at all times. Found in grassy plains areas, usually level 15-20.

Best Pal: Mozzarina (Farming Lv2) — keep 2-3 in your base

Requires Wheat Plantation + Mill

Flour is a two-step process: plant Wheat Seeds in a Wheat Plantation (Tech Lv15), harvest the Wheat, then process it in a Mill into Flour. Assign a Planting Pal for the plantation and a Handiwork Pal for the Mill. Wheat seeds can be bought from merchants or found as drops.

Needs: Wheat Plantation + Mill + Planting Pal + Handiwork Pal

Honey ×2

Rarest — plan ahead

Honey only comes from Beegarde, which drops it passively at your base. The drop rate is slow, so start building your Honey stockpile well before you need it for breeding. Beegarde is found in flower-filled meadows in mid-game regions. Catch 2-3 and assign them early.

Best Pal: Beegarde (Farming Lv2) — keep 2+ in your base
