Palworld Home Sweet Home Update Guide – v0.7 All Changes

The Home Sweet Home update (v0.7.0) is Palworld's final major patch of 2025 and one of the biggest quality-of-life updates the game has received. It completely overhauls base building, adds the ULTRAKILL crossover, introduces a new Raid Boss, and redesigns the raid system. Here's everything that changed.

🏗️ Base Building Overhaul

The biggest change in this update. Pocketpair completely reworked what you can build and how you build it.

48 New Building Parts New

Including triangular pieces that finally let you build angled roofs, diagonal walls, and more architectural shapes. Your base can now look like an actual structure instead of a box.

Building Color Customization New

Press P while placing or hovering over a building to change its color. Works on foundations, walls, and select other structures. Finally customize your base's aesthetic.

Redesigned Build Menu Improved

The building menu is now a clean list-based system instead of the old grid. Much easier to find specific parts, especially now that there are 48 more of them.

Dedicated Raid Battlefield

Major Change

Previously, all Raid Bosses attacked your base directly — putting your buildings and base Pals at risk. Now you have a choice.

When summoning a Raid Boss, choose: Fight at your base OR Transport to the new Raid Battlefield
The Raid Battlefield is a dedicated arena with no base destruction risk
A new Raid Boss has been added to the roster
Raid Boss summoning interface has been improved

Left click (right trigger on controller) now performs a consecutive combo attack instead of single swings
Swords, katanas, and beam swords all updated with the new combo system

Other Notable Changes

Random Pal Mode revamped — better balance and more variety in random encounters
Multiplayer rubberbanding reduced — smoother movement in co-op sessions
Elemental chest rewards adjusted — now guaranteed to drop Dog Coins with a chance for work suitability books
Various bug fixes — including NPC behavior, Pal pathfinding near trees, and gun-firing animations

What This Means for Your Base

The 48 new building parts and color customization are purely cosmetic upgrades — your existing base still works exactly the same. But if you want to rebuild with the new triangular pieces and color options, now's a great time to redesign your layout. The new list-based building menu makes it much faster to find what you need.
