Alpha Pals
All Alpha Pal Locations

Alpha Pals are oversized, glowing versions of regular Pals that spawn at fixed locations on the map. They're significantly stronger than normal Pals but also have higher catch rates when weakened — and they're guaranteed to have at least 1-2 passive skills. Defeating or catching them also gives bonus EXP.
⚠️ Alpha Pal RulesAlpha Pals respawn after roughly 1 in-game day (~24 real minutes) if you fast travel away from the area and return. They don't respawn if you stay in the same region. Each alpha has a fixed spawn point — they don't wander far.

Tips for Catching Alpha Pals
- Match your level first — fighting an alpha 10+ levels above you is very difficult. Come back when you're stronger.
- Use the right element counter — alphas have the same weaknesses as their normal versions.
- Bring Hyper or Legendary Spheres — standard Pal Spheres have very low catch rates on high-level alphas.
- Status effects help — Sleep or Freeze doubles the catch rate window.
- Wildlife Sanctuary alphas — these trigger a wanted level when you enter. Plan your approach and have an escape route.
